The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) introduced the tourism operating license in 2016, pursuant to law No 50/2013 of 28th July 2014 relating to tourism in Rwanda. This license ensures that all hospitality and tourism businesses meet the required standards for quality service delivery.
All hospitality and tourism businesses operating in Rwanda are required to obtain a valid tourism operating license.
Important Requirement
It is a requirement to hold a valid RHA membership certificate to apply for your tourism operating license. Ensure your membership is up to date before beginning the license application process.
