About Us

We champion Rwanda’s hospitality industry, connect businesses, and create opportunities for growth.

Rwanda Hospitality Association

The Rwanda Hospitality Association (RHA) was established in 2002 to bring together businesses operating in Rwanda’s hospitality sector and provide them with a collective platform to address common industry needs and contribute to the development of the country’s tourism and hospitality industry. The association was initially established as the Rwanda Hotels, Bars and Restaurants Association (RHRA) and brought together hospitality operators with a shared interest in improving the sector and strengthening private sector participation.

As Rwanda’s tourism and hospitality industry continued to grow, the association expanded its scope and membership to represent a wider range of hospitality businesses. It later became known as the Rwanda Hospitality Association (RHA), representing establishments including hotels, restaurants, resorts, lodges, guest houses, bars, night clubs, apartments, eco-lodges and other hospitality businesses across the country.

Over the years, RHA has grown into an important voice for Rwanda’s hospitality industry. The association works to represent and advocate for its members, promote professional standards, improve service quality, support capacity development, share industry information and strengthen collaboration among hospitality businesses and other stakeholders. RHA also provides a platform through which members can engage with public institutions and industry partners on matters affecting the growth and sustainability of the hospitality sector.
